Fevr.net has an article by Jodie McNeill on failure. All of us experience failure - failure to get the grades we want (or that our parents want us to get), failure to make the team, failure to fit in... Jodie says, strangely enough, failure can actually be positive. Failure makes us stronger, and brings us resilience. Failure helps us to be wiser, smarter and even more forgiving. All of the great Bible characters failed at some point in time - David committed adultery, Jonah ran from God's call on his life and ended up in a big fish, Peter denied Christ three times... All of these men went on to do great things for God after these big failures. See your failures as a learning opportunities. Romans 8:28 says, And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. All things includes our mistakes.
