Don't Misuse Name of God
One of the Ten Commandments in the Old Testament is, Do not misuse my name. Jesus, Jesus Christ and God have become swear words in modern society - most of us see this as clearly wrong. But there are more subtle ways of misusing the name of God such as O my God and O my Lord. These are also offensive to God.
The word holy is also often misused and while not God's name it means sacred and set apart for God. There is nothing holy about cows, poo or other things we attach it to. We should be careful how we use it.
Matthew 12:36 says, I promise you that on the day of judgment, everyone will have to account for every careless word they have spoken. The good news is that God will forgive us for our bad language in the past and he will help us to choose our words more wisely in the future.
