You are a citizen of the country you live in or were born in. The Bible says that when you become a Christian you are a citizen of God's kingdom. Ephesians 2:19 says we are fellow citizens with God’s people and also members of his household. If you have ever visited a foreign country you will know that they have different rules and regulations, perhaps a different language, different food and different cultures. Basically we should live according to the Bible and not try to fit in with the world. We should be counter-cultural - God's way is often opposite the world's way.
