Ephesians 3:8 says, Though I am the least deserving of all God’s people, he graciously gave me the privilege of telling the Gentiles about the endless treasures available to them in Christ. Paul was telling the reader that God gave him the privilege of telling people the Good News about Jesus, even though he didn't feel worthy. Before his conversion, Paul had been persecuting Christians and putting them in jail for their faith. It's interesting that he chose the word privilege. We often think of sharing our faith as an obligation rather than a privilege. But it really is a privilege to tell other people about what Jesus has done for us. Look for opportunities this week to tell someone about what Jesus did for you.

To the girl who feels like she's been left behind, whose life hasn't worked out the way she hoped and dreamed, who is heartbroken and feels like God has forgotten her. Don't stress, you might just be a late bloomer. In a garden, all the flowers don't bloom at the same time. They don't bloom all the time either - there are seasons of blossoming, but also seasons of pruning or being dormant. I was a late bloomer (not physically - I hit puberty pretty early), but I didn't find my confidence, purpose and passion until later in life. The plans that God has for you are unique, and so is his timeline. The pain, disappointment and waiting are preparing you. Trust in God and lean into him. Don't compare yourself to the other flowers - you will bloom at the right time.
Ephesians 3:7 says, By God’s special gift of grace, I became a servant to tell that Good News. He gave me that grace by using his power. The word servant is also translated minister in some versions of the Bible. The word was likely to have referred to a waiter in Bible times. Regardless of which of these translations you choose, the role is one of service. According to We are all called to tell the Good News, not just Paul, or particular people. Matthew 28:19 says, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. You might feel like you don't know enough, or aren't confident enough or old enough to tell other people the Good News, but God gives you grace and power to do it, so what are you waiting for?
